New Player in Renewable Energy to Benefit 24K Homes

Raslag Corp. has begun the testing and commissioning of their fourth solar power plant, Raslag 4, increasing the renewable energy capacity of the Luzon grid.
Raslag Corp. declared that their new solar plant went online on Oct 2, 2024. This is the firm’s largest power plant to date, with a 36.48 megawatt peak (MWp).
A 670-watt monocrystalline solar module for long-term reliability and maximum energy generation is being employed by Raslag-4.
Its planned capacity of 53 gigawatt hours (GWh) can provide clean energy to 24,000 households.
In its first year of operations, the plant is expected to generate P285 million in revenues.
“We are thrilled to have already completed four organic projects to help meet our nation’s growing energy demand. The Raslag-4 project marks another step towards putting power back into the hands of Filipinos,” Raslag president and chief executive officer Robert Nepomuceno said.
The firm’s total capacity has risen to 77.84 MW at the two-year mark from going public.
Raslag Corp. also has plans of inaugurating another solar plant in the region by 2026, adding to its target of increasing Its RE portfolio to 1,000 MW by 2035.
Its goals are in line with the Philippine government’s objective to increase the renewable energy share in the national mix To 35% by 2031.
