Mixed oil price adjustment seen next week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 14) — Motorists may see mixed price adjustments for fuel products next week, according to a forecast by Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc. on Saturday.

The cost of gasoline may go up by 40 to 60 centavos per liter, while diesel may go down by ₱1 to ₱1.10 per liter.

Unioil said the price adjustments are expected from Oct. 17 to 23.

According to the Department of Energy’s monitoring on Oct. 10, the oil price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of ₱12.25 per liter for gasoline, ₱11.35 per liter for diesel, and ₱5.94 per liter for kerosene.
