Aboitiz bags Golden Arrow Award 3 Years in a Row

2024 marks the milestone three-peat of Aboitiz Power Corporation for the Golden Arrow Award, recognizing its commitment to surpassing corporate government standards and status among international best practices.

The company now boasts of 3 arrows following its impressive score of 107.11 out of 140 total points in the 2023 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard assessment for publicly-listed companies. 

The Aboitiz group has long valued environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) ever since its foundation, and is now finally reaping the rewards of their decades of relentless commitment and ambition towards environmental stewardship, corporate social responsibility, good governance and citizenship, serving as the exemplar for all corporations to follow.

The reward was given to Suiee Suarez, VP for Corporate Affairs, who accepted the award along with Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) VP – Governance & Compliance Mailene De La Torre,  AEV Chief Legal & Compliance Officer Connie Chu, and UnionBank of the Philippines Lead Independent Director Roberto Manabat.
