Having energy storage allows power to be transported to areas with power deficiencies, allowing the community to take an active role in allocating energy reserves to priority sites and groups, such as schools and hospitals.

Energy storage is currently difficult due to the high cost of projects and equipment, as well as policies that pose as obstacles to investment and permits for execution.
